LIVING MEMORY
A new piece by Asher Young designed to represent memory and its simultaneously ephemeral and corporeal nature.
Gabrielle k Brown Closing Party
Gabrielle K Brown is a multifaceted artist who eagerly and energetically seeks new ways to tell stories through her paintings and wood sculptures. Her work retains an object like quality utilizing many folk art materials including wood and various paints, retaining a natural and intuitive, seemingly naive yet extremely complex aesthetic. The works dissect the relationship we have with ourselves, our companions, our society and our past/present with an awe and celebration of nature and the divine, shedding light on how we grow and how we suffer as human beings. Confrontational imagery is often contrasted with uplifting symbols, actions and words - emphasizing the extremes of the human condition and experience.
Born in 1994 on the east coast of Canada in New Brunswick, Brown grew up along the river side and mountains which is where she connected to art and began painting and sculpting. She has spent much of her life traveling the world and moving throughout Canada which has always reflected in the art she creates.
Her work has been privately collected internationally and exhibited at Art Basel Miami, the London Art Fair as well as in Montreal, New York and Los Angeles.

About Toribio
Toribio’s got something for your soul—and dat ass. The charming DJ, producer, and multi-instrumental music maker affectionately known as “Papi” in the scene brings people together for his BDA parties where the motto is "Bring Dat Ass, and your feet will follow.” A force of nightlife, Toribio has shared the decks with the likes of Danny Krivit, DJ Seinfeld, Francois K, Eli Escobar, Andrés, and Ash Lauryn to name a few. Toribio’s spirit shines bright behind the decks, but he also displays his musical prowess as leader of his rotating collective of musicians, Conclave, whose brilliant self-titled LP released on Love Injection Records to critical acclaim. Conclave is a reminder of the powerful omnipresence of Afro and Latino sounds and instruments, which layers effortlessly with Toribio’s easy, sweeping tenor, and courses to an electrically charged conclusion. Tracks from Conclave have been remixed by renown producers such as Louie Vega, Photay, and musclecars. Toribio regularly plays in various clubs across New York, including Nowadays, Elsewhere, Good Room, Knockdown Center, Bossa Nova Civic Club, and Le Bain and holds down a monthly show at the Lot Radio.
