Limbo The Echo - the Shinsa Collective

Shinsa the Collective presents LIMBO: The Echo from Saturday, June 17th, 2023 through June 30th at artXnyc. After sold out runs of 4 previous dance immersive shows, the most recent show being LIMBO at Blue Galleries, Shinsa the Collective is returning with LIMBO: The Echo at artXnyc.

LIMBO: The Echo is Shinsa’s newest immersive dance and theatre experience that dives deeper into the themes of trauma, acceptance, and healing that they explored in LIMBO with new installations, set designs, and venue.

This show is directed and choreographed by Bo Park and produced by Joshua Lee (KPOP). LIMBO: The Echo is built in residency and collaboration with artXnyc and CYI Studio as their first artist in residency.

Bo Park has danced under world renowned choreographers, brands, and artists. However, Park quickly realized that she was not being creatively fulfilled enough as a dancer and began to choreograph and direct. This began with the founding of her company, Shinsa the Collective, which Park has led since 2017, directing and choreographing each of the company’s 4 hit shows. Since the company’s founding, Bo has also choreographed and directed shows for Virgin Voyages, Holland America Cruise, Stars Above Circus, and the DPR Regime World Tour. Bo Park is also a faculty member of Broadway Dance Center and Peridance Center.

Shinsa is an interdisciplinary movement company of collaborators and dance artists who promote compassion, equality, and connection through the means of gripping live performance and daring interactive immersive works as a means to integrate with our views’ lenses and lives. Shinsa has had 4 previous immersive shows, all with sold out runs, and is excited to expand on its’ most recent show LIMBO, with LIMBO 2.0 in residency and collaboration with artXnyc and CYI Studio.
